
Who? Why? How?
Jenny was born in Dublin in 1997. From an early age, she was surrounded by the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Queen and ABBA to name a few With this interesting taste in music being instilled in her, Jenny eventually took up the guitar at the age of eleven. It was while learning the basics of the instrument that Jenny had felt she had found her found her calling with music. The guitar provided an emotional outlet for Jenny, leading to many original songs begin written and released via YouTube and Soundcloud, while receiving encouragement from her peers. At the age of fifteen, Jenny progressed from the guitar to drums, finding her niche instrument. There were many drummers who influenced her playing, however it was mainly Tre Cool of Green Day, Arejay Hale of Halestorm and Bob Bryar, formerly of My Chemical Romance. It was with this passion and these drummers to learn from that Jenny was invited to join the Ardee Concert Band in 2012, two months after beginning to play the drums. Since then, Jenny has gained a broader understanding and appreciation for all genres of music, especially classical music. From this, she has been part of many projects and has grown as a musician, receiving awards for her musicianship. Jenny continues to play music on a regular basis while studying music in Dundalk Institute of Technology, as well as posting music on the internet when she has a moment of inspiration.
